Open Heart Healing....and Revealing.

I today get to say I am a writer.  Hooray!  I don’t need to write anything to say per say, but it helps me to see the light of day.  Helps me to uncover the hurts I’d buried away.  I feel pain inside.  It bubbles to the surface more often than not.  I cover it back over a lot.  It’s not pleasant.  Yet the more I try to hide, the brighter the beam its blinds.  You can’t hide from the pain forever, I tell myself.  The hurts surface to find release.  So what do I do?

Make the space to give your pain awareness.  Let it ride.  It’s ok to feel the uncomfortability  of it.  To grow you must work thru the hurt.  Find out what you’ve buried down deep and how it’s disabling the fullness of your present moment.

You don’t have to solve the problems of the world; you just need to become aware of what holds you down from accessing your dreams, your imagined destiny. 

I get overwhelmed in possibilities.  I let the vastness of life keep me at bay instead of journeying into the depths of the Ocean.  I let myself get tied up in the details.  The result is dormancy.  Nothing gets done.  Pondering what could be, instead of taking action and seeing what comes together from your hard work and dedication is a dead end destination.

So what comes next?  Do I wallow in my sorrows or take positive action in my life.  God knows I’ve wallowed, but that’s just plain old.  NOW is action time, time to push through the hurts.  Turn the hurts of yesterday into the incentives of today.  Let the challenge be to overcome what daunted you in the past.  Don’t let the past get the best of you.  Live for today and discover you can rise above the challenges that once held you down.

Speak up, speak out.  Share the truth that it yours to give.  Let the world see the colors you have to shine.  Don’t hold back the light you have within.  We all have a light to shine upon the world.  It takes courage and passion to shine your light, but it is your destiny.  We all are here to share the beauty within.  We have a special contribution to offer to the world.  Once you know the gift you have to share, the next step is to discover the path that exposes your creation to the world.  Whether you’re a painter, a writer, a doctor, teacher, or any other lifestyle you choose, you have the opportunity to positively impact the world with the light that shines within you!

Let it shine.  Make a difference in your life and discover what brings you joy, and then go share it with the world.  We all have a light within that is yearning to be revealed to the world.  What does your light look like?

The Energy that Carries us Through

Living life wide open with courage and grace

 
With any journey there comes great sacrifice and equally great rewards.  The reward is the openness to all that is.  Embracing the fact that I am a conduit for the grace of God to travel though and touch the world in profound and amazing way.

The first step is intention.  After that its getting my head out of the way so my heart can lead the way.

I feel life so intensely at times, it practically cuts like a knife.  The only way through is breathing with conscious awareness.  The breath is my savior.  When I think I cannot go a step further, the simply coursing of my breath has carried me through.  The breath is so much more than an autonomic response that keeps us alive.  The breath carries us to death.  It delivers us into the next life and births us to and fro this world.

The breath is a gift which creates balance and grounding in our life.  Without it we would surely not survive, in so many more ways than one.  The breath continues to carry us through with calming mind effects, and overall body relaxation.  It gives creativity the opportunity to blossom by allowing our imaginations to be heard.

From the breath comes new life.  Renewed and aware we step into each moment with vibrance.  All this being only possible through our keen awareness on the flow of our very own breath...........

 

 

The Ocean

The Ocean endlessly flows      

As the waves roll

And tides change

I am renewed, reborn

With each breath-

A blessing.

 

My chest rises and falls

I am invigorated.

 

I fill my soul with fresh air

The energies of heaven

Nourish each and every cell.

 

The breath connects me

To the fibers of the Universe.

I am a strand in

The Web of life

 

Life reminds us to breathe

Ever changing seasons

Re-birth to Death

And once again.

 

The Sun rises

Only to fall once again.

 

All life is held in the embrace of

The ever flowing breath.

 

It is with all our heart

And all our soul

We embrace the Ocean of life,

And the ever flowing breath

Food For Thought

Control the Food, Control the People

So doing a bit of research and trying to bring a bit of awareness to myself and the world at large :)

I find it very strange and not in our benefit that over half of the global market of the seeds that our food comes from is controlled (owned) by Chemical companies.

It would appear to me that chemicals and food should not be a joint venture that we invest (ingest) in each day to feed our selves and our families.

In 1970 there were over 10,000 seed companies. As of 2014 there are only a few hundred seed companies left.  Companies like Monsanto have bought the rights to nearly 25% of all seeds.  They have and continue to make it illegal for farmers to save seeds to reuse for the following years crop. A practice that has been going on long before Monsanto came along.
 
These companies are creating immense monopolies.  They are quickly taking over the rights to our food supply.  They are stripping farmers of there rights and forcing them to grow chemically induced GMO seeds or be put out of business.
 
Its all too clear now that these companies are stealing our rights to choose what we put on our plates each day.  These corporations care not for the well being of you or I.  They hold hands with the government and implement laws to aid them in there mission to take control of our food chain.  They grease palms and play the dirtiest of politics to persuade the tables to go their way.
 
I urge you all to open your eyes wide to the crimes these Chemical companies are committing against the whole of humanity.  Now we must take action to make it known that we are taking the power back into our own hands.  We have the right to know what's in the food we put on our plates each day.  Its time we tell these companies what their doing to the Small American family farmers is not ok. 
 
Lets do our best to make a positive difference in the world.  Tell these corporations we not going to eat their chemically altered foods any longer.  Tell them to label what's in their food.  We have the right to know what we eat.
 
After all, you are what you eat.  Who would you trust to grow your food?  Your local farmer?, or a company that makes chemicals?  Doesn't seem like a very hard decision to me.

 Check out your local CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) and discover how easy it is to bring local wholesome food to your families table each day and night.  Google "Local CSA" and create your own food chain.

Discovering the Impeccable Word in Our World

I’ve been thinking about the impeccability of my word.  Every now and then I find myself speaking words that I truly don’t mean.  I think spewing these words will make me feel better, get it off my chest so to speak.  But all it really does is send a ripple of negativity into world.  What we say, whether we mean it or not has consequence.  Every word that leaves our mouth has an impact on the world.  The words we speak can be daggers to the heart, or waves of compassion and love.  The energy we send into the world lay within our intent.  Are we intending disregard for others well being, or our we holding joy in our hearts for those we speak of?
Words, no matter how we intend them, have an energetic effect upon the world.  They send ripples out into the Universe and create a response, whether conscious or unconscious, in those to which they have been spoken about.  We think that just because we don’t truly mean what we say that they don’t have an effect.  But this is untrue.   Your words are a reflection of who you are. 

Let’s say you are a painter.  You step to your canvas and even though you’re not totally invested in the process you begin to slap colors against the blank canvas in front of you.  You throw colors carelessly from your brush and then decide to call it a day.  You walk away forgetting the mess you just made.  Even though you didn’t have much meaning in your work, you are left with a painting filled with ugly colors that don’t serve anything positive in your life.  Yet there it lies, true as day.

This is the same effect words have when we haphazardly let them spew from our mouth.  We may turn our back on them trying to forget the mess we threw out into the Universe, but do not be mistaken; these words remain like poison floating about the ethers.  They bring no light to the world, only darkness.

The moral of the story is; mean what you say and say what you mean.  The less trash you talk the brighter future you will be creating.  Like my Mom always said, “If you don’t have anything nice to say, then don’t say anything at all.”  Words of wisdom for us all.

I am encouraged to speak words of kindness and compassion about myself and others, always.  Let’s set an intention to brighten up this world with each and every spoken word.

I Wonder….

I sometimes wonder what people are thinking.  How could you do this?  What were you thinking?  Really?  Instinctively I would like to hug and love all people, but through a lifetime of conditioning I have unfortunately learned to keep a “comfortable distance”.  It’s sad actually.  Why is it that our society has a collective cold shoulder to the world?  We quickly judge one another and lay down verdicts without taking a moment to discover an underlying truth. 

The political world is the perfect example of shoot first, ask questions later.  Worse, it appears from this vantage point, no questions are even bothered being asked, at least not the truly important ones.  For instance:   How will this benefit the betterment of humanity as a whole? 

The government as a whole has a head so big, how they fit it through any doorway is beyond me.  This could be reason why they feel the need to blow the doors off somebody’s home before taking the time to knock, and politely ask to come in.

With all sarcasm aside; we cannot go on living life this way any longer.  Where is the compassion?  I see a lack of value for human life.  The government’s answer to conflict is to create more of it.  Eye for eye they say.  One group hurts another, and what’s the answer? Make them pay, it’s their turn to suffer. And then to justify their means it’s always the same game; Who’s on board?  Are you with us or against us? Patriot or traitor?.  It’s a simple power play.  They push us to take a side, peddling fear like it was our last meal.  Eat this or else.  Enjoy what we have to offer or suffer the consequences and be labeled a traitor starving alone, on your own.

I say We start asking the questions.  Tell Me why we should believe those who have consistently lied to us.  Blatantly told us one thing and done another.  How can we even begin to trust someone, or a group of someone’s that only use words to empower themselves?  We cannot.  Now is the Age of Transparency.  If these politicians make promises to “We the People”, they should be held accountable.  If there promises fall through the deep cracks upon Capitol Hill, then we the majority will have the choice and the power to vote them out.  Where honor is a precious commodity, it’s high time we take action and restore justice to a country that was built upon such principles.

Our collective voice has been hushed too long.  We do have a voice, and it’s time to be heard is now!  Take action.  Let the government know we do not agree with their agendas.  No longer will we sit quietly and live under a hood of injustice.   If the present leaders cannot lead, then we as a whole must find those who can.  A leader who is humble enough to be willing to speak and act upon the best intentions of the whole, these are the people we desperately need to guide us into a brighter world.

I am a peaceful person at heart, but do not mistake my nature for that of someone who is willing to have the wool pulled over my eyes.  I am awake and my eyes see the discontent within our Nation’s people.  In a land built upon freedom and liberty, I look around and see these precious gifts being pulled out from under our very feet.  It’s a smoke and mirror show.  The government disguises their true intentions within a cloud of lies and deception.  They strategically pull at our emotions to engage us to get on board with their questionable politics.  All the while their motives are being fueled by efforts to further promote agendas that lie hidden behind closed doors.

For some of us it may seem easier to wear rose colored glasses and say to our self that all is fine and the government has our best interests at hand, but these glasses are no longer serving us.  We are falling prey to those who are but a few, compared to the many of us.  With so few people pulling the strings that have a power to control so many, we must questions their ethics and moral standings on life.  If what we see is creating unease within us, then it is our duty to make a difference.  Power is meant to be diverse.  It should reflect the highest intentions of the whole.  I believe that we absolutely need key advocates to represent that of the greater good.  It is those that choose to lead with a humble heart and a fierce courage that will best be able to carry forth the torch of true freedom and liberty. 

If we care about our self and the well being of our brothers and sisters in life, then it is you and I that must carry the torch to a brighter future for our self, our children, and our children’s children forever more.

GOD.....What can I do?

In the wake of the all too recent events I am left embracing the tremors of a heavy heart.  How can this be?  God bless the children in all of us.

I am open to this experience.  It hurts.  God it hurts.  The tears are pushing past the dam I sometimes hold at the surface of my eyes.  I breathe.....and ask for the guidance to assist and carry us through this tragedy hitting so close to home.

We need to come together, now more than ever.  Join hands, join hearts, and embrace this moment so that we can burn through the fear.  Too many of us are living in fear.  Courage is what we need.  The courage to give all the love we have within, and shine it unconditionally on the families that are so effected by this terrible experience.  May they feel the warmth of our unified love surrounding them.  May we lighten their tremendous load, and create a sacred space for them to grieve their loss.

I send light and love, all that my heart has to offer, to Newton.

Welcome to "The Age of Heart-Based Action"

Hello one two one two one two, (12-12-12)

Amazing! A date to embrace.  The 1 2 1 2 1 2 makes we want to get up and sing.  It's got this ring to it that sounds off bells in your body, and enlightens your soul.  Let's sing and dance our way into the new life we are creating!!!

It's exciting considering all the possibilities leading up to the ending of one Great Age and the welcoming into a new and even Greater Age.  It is to be filled with what I can only hope and hold faith to be, The Best of Ages.  What the future has in store for us, will greatly have to do with what we all bring to the table as a collective.  Each one of us holds the key to great potential, and together as a holistic force, we are limitless.

What are the possibilities awaiting bloom before us?  A small question this is not.  Let's simplify it.  Our actions, fueled by the thoughts streaming through us, have thus far created the experience into which we live.  Sometimes beautiful, at times horrific, and always a result of our own actions.  This is of the utmost importance for us to own, whole heartly.  We each pave our own way in this world.  We can attempt to lay blame on others for our lack of zest in life, but the more we point one finger away from our self, the more we begin to find that the remainder of the fingers in our hand point to the true source of our conditions.  Our Self.

The revelation of finally realizing we are the makers of our madness, and it is only when we take control of our life, and our actions, that we can discover it is only I, and in this case U too, that have the power to make change.  It is our God given gift to be the creators of our destiny.  Within our heart we find the truth of life.  The heart tells no lies.  Even under all the scars of the past, when you choose to look deep within, you will always find the truth that guides to your highest high.  And when we do uncover this truth, this "calling," it is with our intentions we learn to guide our life in the direction we have always dreamt it to be. 

Action guided by heartfelt intentions lead the way to not only and amazing tomorrow, but more importantly, an amazing today.  Today is the most important day of your life.  It's not because today is 12-12-12, although that in itself it pretty darn cool, it is because today is the only day you have to take action in the awakening of your dreams.  If not today, when?  There will always be a million and one excuses to put off our dreams.  Today is your day to shine.  Drop the excuses off at the cleaners,  you do not need them. Trust me, if you want to pick them up later, they'll still be there.  But maybe, just maybe we can drop the excuses for good.  We'd all be the better for it.

The Present moment is our opportunity to shine.  We grab hold of our intentions, we step one foot first into the world, and with intention our next foot follows us as we leave behind the sorrows of the past.  We no longer inhibit our heart.  Now is the time to let the rays of our internal sun shine as bright as we know they can, and brighter yet still.  We embrace our faith and let it guide us through the dark, to the light that shines more intensely with each step we take towards it.  We keep on keepin' on.  Even through the doubts, we push through.  We uncover the path as we go, growing along the way.  With our feet planted firmly on the path to our dreams, we suddenly discover a whole new world opening up for us.  The people we meet seem to have a certain vibrancy to them.  The places you go breathe with fresh life.  Everything is as it need be.   

Acceptance.  Now, living in the moment becomes a necessary and encouraged part of life.  While experiencing the moment fully, we come to know our self more completely.  We learn to accept the ups and downs of life.  Accepting the hard times with an open heart, and an open mind, takes all the courage in the world.  And we find it, because we have faith in our self that carries us through the tough times, and from it we grow.  Our intention is to continue taking actions that will lead us to the dreams we hold in our heart.  From our heart based intentions we begin to find peace within the chaos of life.  Moment by moment we experience the unfolding of life.  We come to deeply understand the perfect harmony of it all.  We allow our self to let go, to let go of the restrictions, the bars of resistance we have created thus far through this journey of life.  We understand that each experience in life has led us to where we stand today.  With this understanding we expand through any bars we had built around our self in the past.  The past has been a gift for you to grow into the being you are right now in this very moment.  We begin to fully accept who we are. I am perfect.  I am me.

Entering into this new age we open our arms and mind,  guided by our heart, to the best we have yet to know.  The experience is ours for the making.  You hold the key to your dreams, as I hold the key to mine.  Now is the Age of Heart based Action.  We each have a mission to fulfill here on the beautiful kingdom we call our home.  Individually we break from our shells and awaken to a new day filled with limitless potential.  Collectively we embrace one anothers dreams, and give unconditional loving support to the whole.  Each one of us will uncover the way home to our heart's.  It will be in our own special time and our own special way.  The dreams we desire are always within our reach.  It is our mission to extend our arms fully into the world and discover the dream that is ours to experience.  We embrace the dream as our own, and then with all the love we have to give, we open the wings of our dream and let it fly.  Dreambirds spread their wings, sailing on the horizon to share their experiences with all the world and far beyond, touching the hearts of many as they go.  And forever remember;  Dreambirds always flock together.
